Play digital music in every room. Wirelessly |
|
Sonos® ZonePlayers give you the freedom to listen to what you want, where you want - in up to 32 rooms in your house. Sonos liberates the digital music on your home network and the Internet, wirelessly streaming any song, to any ZonePlayer, in any room. You can access music stored on up to 16 PCs, Macs or Network Attached Storage devices, plus select music and radio services, and even music from your favourite CD or MP3 player.
You can connect a ZonePlayer to speakers or to your existing amplified audio equipment or use the all-in-one S5 ZonePlayer, and play the same song in different rooms or different songs in different rooms. Simultaneously. Plus, you'll have total control over each ZonePlayer and the music it plays from your full-colour wireless Sonos Controller.

What are the differences between the ZP90/120 or ZP80/100?In August 2008, the ZP80 and ZP100 were superceded by the ZP90 and ZP120 respectively.
It is important to emphasise that there is no obsolescence with the new Zone Players. Sonos software is backwards compatible and all ZonePlayers can coexist.
The key differences between the new Zone Players are: |

Greater Wireless RangeSonos have improved the wireless range of the ZonePlayers. This can improve coverage and reduce the need for Zone Bridges. Coverage is only extended when more than one ZonePlayer is used. In other words, the range between Zone Players is only extended between two ZP90's or ZP120's. It is not possible to extend the range between a ZP80/100 and a ZP90/120. |

ZP120 FeaturesThe ZP120 has a slightly higher capacity amplifier, and is more compact than the ZP100. The ZP120 has no line-level output (the ZP100 does) and has a two-port ethernet switch (the ZP100 has 4-ports). |
